Senator John McCain has a softball sitting on a tee, and he can hit a home run and win the election. But will he even swing at it?

In the last debate the main topic seemed to be the economy. And one of the questions was how each candidate would cut federal spending. This is where Senator McCain must swing at the ball and put it over the fence. And here is how.

Today the major topic is the current financial crisis. But one year ago the biggest topic among voters was immigration. If Senator McCain would simply tell the independent and undecided voters that we can cut federal spending by enforcing immigration law, there by removing the tax burden placed on all of us by illegal immigrants using public assistance, abusing the healthcare system by not paying their hospital bills, and destroying the fabric of the public education system, the Senator would win the election.

The immigration issue can tie several points together that are important to Americans voting this November. The issues of federal spending, healthcare, education and national security can all be tied directly to enforcing immigration laws and securing the borders of our nation.

Senator Obama and his minions, including Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, will get flogged by public opinion as they try to argue for open borders in defense against Senator McCain during the last two weeks leading up to the election.

The topic is there, all that Senator McCain has to do is take a swing at it and he can become the next President and save us from an open borders socialist society.

God help us all.

Attemped Opression at Another Rally

So I rolled up to the rally in Golden Colorado this morning to hear VP Candidate Sarah Palin speak. And as usual there were some protesters milling around with signs and shouting slogans outside. Fair enough, after all I understand that not all Americans...er, people agree with the message of the McCain/Palin ticket. Indeed they have the right to free speech and have the right to protest, as silly as they may look and sound.
 
However, once the former Colorado Governor Bill Owens finished speaking, and Gov. Sarah Palin began to speak, the liberals crossed the line of respect. Why is it ok for them to set-up around the rally and spew there rhetoric without reprecussion from conservatives that are present. Yet as soon as Sarah Palin began to speak they feel it is perfectly just to try and interrupt and disrupt her speech?
 
As the typical left wing liberal mantra goes; they are for free speech, unless they do not like what you have to say. Then you must be silenced.
 
Fortunely there were people in place to handle the situation, and Sarah Palin was not deprived of her first amandment right by the left.

Why Does the Media want Americans to Hate God?

Earlier this week some past comments made by Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin about praying to God gave the media fodder to attack her. Why?
 
At what point in the recent past did the media decide that belief in God is wrong? And expressing a belief in God, or even worse, praying to God is somehow outright offensive? I mean when did the media lose touch with reality?

We all know that the Declaration of Independence clearly states not only the belief in God as our creator, but also that the very document is influenced and inspired by God himself by those who authored it.

Yet somehow this has become a partisan issue. Liberals want to attack and remove God from every level of life. They do not want prayer in schools, they do not want the Ten Commandments on any government property, and now they do not want God mentioned at all in a positive light. They dismiss that Democratic Presidents have made mention of God in speeches at all, such as:

"...America is privileged to spend her blood and her might for the principles that gave her birth and happiness and the peace which she has treasured. God helping her, she can do no other." -Woodrow Wilson  April 16, 1917

"With confidence in our armed forces—with the unbounding determination of our people—we will gain the inevitable triumph—so help us God." Franklin D. Roosevelt  Dec 8, 1941

"We have changed the guard. And now, each in our own way, and with God's help, we must answer the call. Thank you and God bless you all. " William Jefferson Clinton  Jan 20,1993

There are literally thousands of quotes from Democratic Presidents who mention both God and Prayer. Yet Liberals ignore them and attack any Conservative who makes reference to faith at all. For example, Liberal pesudo-televison co-host Joy Bahar was one of the loudest voices on the Palin issue. She used her broadcast position to whine and cry about the Vice Presidential candidates comments and saying she is "worried" about such statements. Why?

What Joy Bahar and her liberal friends....including the majority of the media...forget is this. It's ok to have a different point of view. I understand that not everyone in this Country believes in the same God. Some do not even believe in God at all. And that is ok. I mean after all, if they are wrong they will find out someday. But I do not criticize them for there beliefs. However, liberals want to silence any position they do not agree with.

Out of curiosity I went downtown here in Denver during the DNC. I saw protesters holding slanderous and offensive signs. Signs that read such things as "F**K AMERICA" and "SOLDIERS DESERVE DEATH". Now as a former soldier I am highly offended by each of these signs. But I also understand that these people have a right to free speech. And although that borders on hate speech, and they were covering there faces because they are truly ashamed of what they are saying, at this point they have the right to say it.

But the media didn't report on those signs. The media was there, I saw them with my own eyes as they filmed the protesters. No, the media did not report on vicious statements that would truly offend 80% of Americans. Instead they report on Joy Bahar's opinion of Sarah Palin and here belief in God and prayer.

God help us all...
